Nitric acid solutions
Alleima® 2RE10 is our solution developed specifically for nitric acid applications. Its controlled chemical composition limits impurities such as C, Si, P and S, minimizing segregation in the grain boundaries and reducing the risks of intergranular corrosion. Thus, it offers higher corrosion resistance than standard 304L stainless steel.
Phosphoric acid solution
Graphite heat exchangers often represent a maintenance challenge for phosphoric acid producers. The brittle nature of the material can lead to broken tubes and loss of production. Sanicro® 28, the most widely used metallic material for evaporator tubes in the manufacture of phosphoric acid by the ”wet” method, is our solution for this application.
Sulfuric acid solution
For highly concentrated sulfuric acid at high temperatures, Alleima® SX provides excellent corrosion protection up to 266°F (130° C). For lower concentrations, which may include impurities or applications where the cooling media contains chlorides, Sanicro® 28 or Sanicro® 32Cu (Alloy 20) will offer the best resistance.
Bimetallic solutions
We’ve developed bimetallic tube solutions that offer zirconiumlevel performance at an affordable price. The inner tube is made of zirconium and an outer tube is made with Alleima® 2RE10, Alleima® 2RE69 or a material of your choice.
