Business Development Representative – High Temperature Products

Alleima Tube Americas is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to drive business growth for our High Temperature product portfolio throughout the United States and Canada. This role combines strategic business development with technical sales and inside sales responsibilities, requiring a strong understanding of seamless stainless steel and specialty alloy tube and pipe manufacturing, customer applications, and commercial processes.
The successful candidate will develop new market opportunities, strengthen relationships with distributors, OEMs, EPC contractors, licensors, and end users, while serving as a trusted technical and commercial advisor. Working closely with our global sales, production, engineering, and customer service teams, you will help customers identify innovative solutions that improve performance, efficiency, and sustainability.

Your Role
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in expanding Alleima's market presence while supporting the complete commercial sales process from opportunity identification through order fulfillment. This position requires specialized knowledge of Alleima's high-performance tube and pipe products, manufacturing capabilities, production processes, and application engineering.
You will serve as the primary commercial and technical interface for customers, ensuring efficient communication between customers and internal departments including manufacturing, engineering, planning, logistics, technical marketing, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to grow sales of High Temperature tube and pipe products across North America.
Establish Alleima as the preferred solutions provider with key distributors, OEMs, EPC companies, licensors, fabricators, and end users.
Prospect, identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in target industries and applications.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through regular visits, technical presentations, and commercial discussions.
Collaborate with Account Managers, Engineering, and global product specialists to develop customer-specific solutions.
Develop strategic account plans that identify customer business drivers and generate sustainable, profitable growth.
Provide technical and commercial guidance regarding product selection, material grades, manufacturing capabilities, specifications, and application suitability.
Develop quotations based on customer technical requirements, commercial terms, and manufacturing capabilities while ensuring pricing accuracy and profitability.
Manage quotation follow-up activities and convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
Perform order entry, order maintenance, and coordination throughout the order lifecycle to ensure timely and accurate execution.
Coordinate closely with production planning, manufacturing, logistics, quality, and customer service to ensure customer requirements are met.
Resolve customer inquiries regarding order status, delivery schedules, product specifications, documentation, and commercial matters while providing a high level of customer service.
Support contract review, supply agreements, pricing negotiations, and commercial negotiations in accordance with company policies.
Participate in daily commercial decision-making involving quotations, projects, contracts, production priorities, and customer commitments.
Maintain accurate customer records, forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and sales activities within the CRM system.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, emerging technologies, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
Travel extensively throughout the United States and Canada to strengthen customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.

Your Profile
You are a commercially driven professional with strong technical aptitude who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment. You possess excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to translate complex customer requirements into practical technical and commercial solutions. You are proactive, analytical, and comfortable working across multiple functions while managing strategic customer relationships.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, technical sales, account management, or inside sales within industrial manufacturing.
Strong understanding of high-temperature alloys, stainless steel tube and pipe products, industrial process applications, or related engineered products.
Demonstrated knowledge of seamless tube and pipe manufacturing processes, production planning, manufacturing capabilities, quality requirements, and supply chain coordination.
Experience preparing quotations, managing order entry, order maintenance, and providing customer service throughout the sales and order fulfillment process.
Experience negotiating commercial agreements and developing long-term supply relationships.
Ability to interpret technical specifications, industry standards, engineering drawings, and customer requirements.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance technical and business considerations.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with international teams across engineering, manufacturing, technical marketing, and sales.
Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Fluency in English is required.
