About the role
As a Network Engineer, you will work both hands-on and strategically with our network environment, ensuring a secure, stable, and future-proof infrastructure in a highly demanding industrial setting. You contribute both to daily operations and to the continued development of our network platform
Main responsabillites
- Work hands-on with FortiGate firewalls, VPN solutions, and security policies
- Configure and troubleshoot HPE Aruba switches
- Ensure stable operation of network and Wi-Fi environments
- Provide VPN client support and secure remote access
- Diagnose complex network issues in isolated and highly secured environments
- Contribute to ways of working, architecture, and technical platforms
Your Profile:
We are looking for a curious, solution-oriented individual with a strong drive to grow. You are a lifelong learner with a genuine passion for technology and a proactive mindset, always turning opportunities into action. With strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking, you enjoy tackling complex challenges and finding smart, sustainable solutions. You communicate effortlessly in both Swedish and English and thrive in environments where collaboration and continuous improvement are key.
You hold an academic degree in Network Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or have gained equivalent experience through your career. You bring proven experience as a Network Engineer, preferably within industrial environments, along with hands-on expertise in Fortinet/FortiGate and HPE Aruba technologies. You have a solid foundation in TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, segmentation, and VPN solutions. A strong focus on security, stability, and building high-quality, reliable network environments is essential for success in this role.
