With strengthened and complementary capabilities in nitinol processing, guidewire manufacturing and laser processing, the strategic acquisition of Endox enables Alleima’s forward-integration in the value chain of the medical industry. The addition of Endox’s comprehensive product offering, extensive certifications, and established customer base further increases Alleima’s addressable market in the fields of urology, gastroenterology, and endoscopy. The combined capabilities and footprint drive new product development and geographical sales expansion, as well as possibilities of joint utilization of production and application capabilities.

"This rebranding is a symbolic milestone where Endox is officially and fully incorporated with Alleima’s medical business. We are looking forward to the journey we now have in front of us. The acquisition enabled us to enhance our medical offering as it broadens our capabilities and expand our product portfolio in wire-based catheter applications, bringing added value to our customers and further strengthening our market position,” says Mikael Monsell, President Business Unit Medical, Kanthal Division.

Endox was founded in 2001, headquartered in Dettingen, Germany, and had approximately 90 employees when acquired by Alleima. With manufacturing in Dettingen and an additional unit in Bielsko-Biala, Poland, Endox had revenues of approximately SEK 65 million, and an EBIT margin slightly positive to Division Kanthal in 2023.
