Medical wire and wire-based components

Our comprehensive range of high-grade fine wires and wire-based components are used for applications in various fields of medical technology such as vascular therapy, sensing, and neurostimulation. They are used to sense, stimulate, or transmit signals within the human body or to a receiver outside the body such as a mobile device.

Typical applications are:

  • Cardiovascular applications such as pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, Fractional Flow Reserve, and heart health monitors
  • Continuous glucose monitors for persons with diabetes to measure blood sugar levels
  • Cochlear implants for people with sensorineural hearing loss.

Medical strip steel

The medical field puts extremely tough demands on stainless steels. Alleima advanced strip steel meets them all. Our product offering includes a wide range of stainless steels to meet the requirements called for in the medical field.
