Alleima offers two different types of ethylene furnace tubes - finned tubes in Alleima® 353 MA* and smooth tubes in Alleima APMT iron-chromium-aluminium (FeCrAl) alloy and - both bringing efficiency benefits when used for steam cracking furnace tubes in ethylene production.
Alleima grade | Description |
---|---|
Alleima® APMT | An iron-chromium-aluminium (FeCrAl) alloy that offers longer run lengths between decoking and lower operating costs. |
Alleima® 353 MA | An austenitic, chromium-nickel steel alloyed with nitrogen and rare earth metals, well established in the chemical and petrochemical industries. |
Alleima® 353 MA finned tubes
The good resistance against carburization makes Alleima® 353 MA specially suited for use in ethylene furnaces. Combined with good oxidation properties at high temperature, the use of Alleima® 353 MA finned tubes can contritube to longer production runs before decoking.
