As the Field Sales Representative you will facilitate high level sales within Kanthal Heating Materials.

Your Role:

  • Sales professionals are responsible for marketing technical products, services, installations, and configurations to designated clients. They serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and the engineering, manufacturing, and program management departments, ensuring customer requirements are aligned with organizational capabilities.

  • Collaboration is key, as they work closely with the Sales Team and Production Unit, including managers from sales, business development, planning, supply chain, shipping, production, and general administration.

  • Additional duties include managing lead follow-ups, preparing and tracking quotations utilizing CRM and pricing tools, conducting technical briefings, formulating specifications and pricing strategies, developing forecasts, and identifying new applications or product enhancements in partnership with customers.

Required Competences

  • Knowledge and Ability to use Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to have good communication and listening skills when dealing with customers

  • Ability to negotiate and close a sale

  • Ability to work closely within a team atmosphere

  • Ability to work in a safe, responsible manner that aligns with Alleima Core Values (We Care, We Deliver, We Evolve)

  • General understanding of Resistance and Thermocouple wire

  • Wanting to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Able to work independently

  • Self-Motivated

Experience

  • A minimum of 2-4 years within a sales organization, preferably business to business sales within a manufacturing sector

  • Resistance Wire/Thermocouple Wire knowledge and experience preferred but not required

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Business Management/Marketing
