Sales work focus includes:
Sells technical products, services, installations, and configurations to assigned customer for specific technical product and/or application of product.
Provides technical interface between customer and company engineering, manufacturing and program management representatives.
Researches customer technical specifications and requirements with current or potential technical specifications of company products.
Prepares and conducts technical sales briefings for customer and company representatives.
Develops potential technical specifications, pricing considerations and contract requirements.
Prepares sales forecasts. Investigates new applications or improvements to products with customers.

*Purpose of the position and responsibility

Field sales professional are responsible for all opportunities, perform customer-oriented activities and responsible for entire sales process for standard and complex opportunities.

  • Ensure personal safety and promote a “Safety First” culture
  • Accountable for all opportunities created for existing and potentially new customers in the region.
  • Responsible for managing the entire sales process for Standard and Complex opportunities.
  • Act as sales project leader for all Standard and Complex opportunities, being on top of progress even though certain activities are handled by for instance Technical Marketing.
  • Responsible to perform customer-oriented activities (finding new business leads within existing and new customers, value based exploratory meetings, proposal presentation meetings, subsequent closing activities and drive pricing activities according to agreed targets).
  • Responsible to have close communication with Production Unit(s) and solve each pending issue, including customer claims.
  • Monitor industry competitors, new products and market conditions and feed back into the relevant departments.
  • Assist Sales Manager in forecasting process with the relevant information at customer, industry segment level.
  • Collecting data and providing sound market and competitive intelligence analyses related to market and local/country trends
  • Cash collection activities as needed

  • Authorized to represent Alleima externally within framework of role and function (employees, customers, suppliers, authorities, association etc) in relation to the job role.
