The aerospace and space industries are accelerating despite challenging geopolitical conditions.

In Europe, under uncertainty over international trade, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) are continuing to increase activity and are exploring greater support from local suppliers. In the U.S.A., the ongoing development of satellite technology is supporting advances across sectors.

Alleima is perfectly positioned to support these developments. We’ve been successfully serving the aerospace industry for nearly 70 years with advanced material technologies and complete work packages for our customers.

World-leading materials

We offer a broad portfolio of titanium and stainless steels with fully integrated production for the space and aerospace industries. We also provide nickel alloy bar including Sanicro® 625, and our precipitation-hardened materials such as 17-4PH and 15-5PH grades for critical components alongside 21-6-9 seamless and coiled tubing for on-site applications.

Our services include tight-radius tube bending, machining, welding, cold-working equipment, and hydrogen heat exchanger tube for space. Our hydrogen fuel technology expertise and on-site coiled tube services (cutting, finishing) from Alleima Engineering further enhance our capabilities.

We provide bespoke or standardized material solutions as well as extensive testing and full traceability. We combine full control of our manufacturing process - from raw materials to work packages for satellite launches – with industry-leading materials and decades of expertise to deliver challenging and unique solutions. This combination sets us apart from the rest.

We showcased our advanced materials technologies and services at the recent Paris Air Show.

This year’s event was a great opportunity to meet customers, network with leaders in the aerospace sector, and learn more about the latest industry trends.

Last year, a key conversation topic was additional materials supply. Since then, we’ve invested heavily in our mills. Our fully integrated production processes and truly international footprint have allowed us to develop our product offering around the world, which is critical to our support of some of the industry’s leading companies.

A progressive partner

We supply tubes from our mills in the U.S.A., Germany, and China supported by steel melting and hollows from our fully integrated mill in Sandviken, Sweden. As an established supplier to the space and aerospace industries with a deep commitment to research and development (R&D), we leverage our extensive material knowledge to support customer R&D programs.

We are signatories to the Science Based Targets initiative and adhere to the UN’s sustainability goals. Our materials are made from more than 81% recycled steel, and we use 96% fossil-free energy globally. We have Green Mill and Aerospace certification from OEMs, and NADCAP certification in the EU and the USA.

When we advance materials, industries benefit. That’s why space and aerospace companies trust Alleima as a progressive partner in their journey forward.
