For industries to advance, materials technology must continually advance too.
In the oil and gas upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors, companies seek state-of-the-art developments that help them achieve reliability and project targets cost-effectively without jeopardizing quality and reliability.
In the renewables segments, accelerating sustainability through growing sectors like hydrogen, biofuels, biomass, and emerging fuels requires new technologies and solutions that increase energy production, system enablers, and infrastructure.
Across industries, materials must become lighter, stronger, and able to withstand higher temperatures and more corrosive atmospheres.
Alleima at the AMPP Annual Conference and Expo 2025
Corrosion challenges and solutions were among the key issues discussed at the recent Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) Conference and Expo. The annual event aligns with our strategy to make innovative changes that bring real difference and is a great way to promote our advanced material technologies.
This year’s conference and expo, held in Nashville, USA, brought together industries and experts worldwide to share insights on the latest innovations, technological trends, and methods of solving corrosion issues. It was also a great opportunity to meet existing contacts and make new acquaintances.
The event attracted a strong representation from America and the Middle East – especially in the refinery and oil and gas sectors. The American renewable energy sector was a focus, with optimism that projects were continuing to advance.
On our booth, we showcased our wide range of materials, engineered to move projects forward. These include our range of advanced materials for hydraulic and instrumentation tubing, heat exchanger tubing, and high temperature tubes such as our super-austenitic alloy Sanicro® 35. Our Sanicro ® 35 bar generated lots of discussion and interest.
As part of the technical sessions, our experts delivered five presentations that covered a wide range of subjects and generated lots of questions and discussions. There was high interest in our development and use of advanced data acquisition technologies, which help customers build technical and business cases for our materials, like Sanicro ® 35.
Pushing the possibilities of materials protection and performance
Alleima has supported the AMPP Conference and Expo for many years. The positive feedback and interest we received from this year’s event once again demonstrates that by relentlessly pushing products and processes to be more efficient, profitable, and sustainable, we move industries forward.
