Ahead of last fall, Torsåkers IF sought new collaboration partners and sponsors. The association of around 350 members had grown, especially the children and youth section.

"We want to invest in a meaningful free time that all children and young people can afford. Here, sponsorship collaborations are an important part," says Birgitta Osmund Eriksson, one of the club's driving forces.

In the town of Torsåker with about 3,000 inhabitants, Torsåkers IF is a relatively large club with its 350 members. Besides two men's teams and a women's team, the association has a large children and youth section of 120 girls and boys between four and fifteen years old. a group of people on a fieldAlleima's contribution to the association has, among other things, gone to new match kits and balls.

"We are seeing an increase in interest in soccer among children and young people, especially among girls, which is very fun," says Birgitta. All members pay a membership fee, but the association aims not to charge any training fees. To meet this goal, everyone volunteers and works in the club's cafeteria.

Another important part is the club's sponsorship collaborations. "Our collaborations mean a huge amount to us! It shouldn't be expensive to play soccer in Torsåker. All children and youth should be able to afford a good and active free time," says Birgitta Osmund Eriksson.

Alleima's contribution to the association has, among other things, gone to new match kits and balls. There is also a sign with Alleima's logo at the facility. "For us at Alleima, it is important to support the local community and association life. In the collaboration with Torsåkers IF, we see the opportunity to contribute to more children and young people being able to participate in a team sport, moreover in a town where several of our employees live," says Glenn Johansson, Site Manager for Alleima in Sandviken and chairman of the company's local sponsorship group.
