Customer conversations, growing interest in Freeflex® and showcasing the Alleima brand were among the highlights as Alleima Strip joined the international HVAC&R community at Chillventa 2026 in Nuremberg.
A range of different compressor valves produced of Alleima material was showcased at Chillventa 2026. Stefan Jonsson, Product specialist, points out our extensive Compressor valve steel portfolio.
The refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and heat pump industry are evolving rapidly. The transition to lower-impact refrigerants, increasing demands for energy efficiency, heat pump development and digitalization are shaping the next generation of HVAC&R systems.
These developments were reflected at Chillventa 2026, held from 13–15 October, in Nuremberg, Germany. The exhibition brought together 1,170 exhibitors from 50 countries and more than 36,000 industry professionals, highlighting the importance of international collaboration and knowledge exchange in a changing market.
Innovation starts with understanding customer needs
For Alleima, Chillventa provided an important opportunity to meet customers and partners. Face-to-face conversations help strengthen relationships, deepen our understanding of evolving to meet new and higher requirements, and identify opportunities for future collaboration.
As HVAC&R systems develop, component materials remain an important part of delivering reliable and efficient performance. Alleima's compressor valve steel portfolio is designed to meet demanding requirements across a range of compressor applications.
“We were pleased to see the increased interest in our Freeflex® line. At the previous Chillventa, we launched Freeflex® Versa, and it has been encouraging to continue the conversations around our offering. We have confidence in our compressor valve steel portfolio and its ability to support our customers as their requirements evolve,” says Stefan Jonsson, Product Specialist at Alleima Striptech AB.

Connecting trusted materials with the Alleima brand
Chillventa was also an opportunity to strengthen Alleima’s visibility across the Cooling industry and reinforce the connection between our established materials and the Alleima brand.
While our materials have a long-standing reputation and are well known to many customers, Alleima is a relatively new brand to the industry following the rebranding. Industry events such as Chillventa provide an important opportunity to build brand recognition, strengthen relations, and ensure that the expertise and quality associated with our materials are increasingly recognized under the Alleima name.
“Chillventa was a valuable opportunity to strengthen the connection between Alleima and the materials our customers know and trust. We have a strong heritage, established customer relations, and deep expertise in our markets. By being present and meeting customers face-to-face, we can reinforce this connection and continue building recognition for the Alleima brand across the industry,” says Maline Knutsen, Head of Marketing Communications at Alleima Strip.
Looking ahead
Chillventa 2026 highlighted the importance of energy efficiency and the transition to more sustainable refrigerants. As these trends continue to influence HVAC&R development, close collaboration between material suppliers, component manufacturers and system developers will remain essential.
For Alleima, the conversations in Nuremberg reinforce the value of staying close to customers, understanding their technical challenges and continuing to develop materials that support the performance demands of tomorrow's compressor applications.
Thank you to everyone who visited our stand and shared their insights with the Alleima team.
