Sanicro® 35 – one metallurgy, two strength levels
Sanicro® 35 (annealed) and Sanicro® 35-HS (cold drawn) share the same chemical composition and corrosion resistance properties. In its cold-worked condition, the material achieves significantly higher mechanical strength without compromising corrosion resistance.
Sanicro® 35-HS is the ideal choice for bolts, nuts, and flanges requiring superior mechanical properties in marine and offshore environments.
High PRE with flexible yield strength
Available in two conditions, Sanicro® 35 bar combines excellent PRE with a flexible yield strength range from 50 ksi to 120 ksi.
Conquer the oceans
Seawater acts as an electrolyte. In standard steel, this leads to corrosion and pitting which create “stress concentrators” that cause the material to snap far below its original tensile limit. With Sanicro® 35 in its two conditions, there is one alloy, one metallurgy that combine excellent corrosion resistance, with the option of two distinct differences concerning tensile strength.
