It was a pleasure meeting at OTC Asia 2026

Deep-sea exploration in the Asia Pacific region is undergoing rapid expansion, driven not only by the search for energy and critical minerals but also by technological advancement and geopolitical competition. As operators push into deeper, more remote, and technically demanding environments, the need for materials that can withstand extreme pressures, chloride-rich environments, and complex fatigue conditions is growing.

Thank you for visiting us at OTC Asia 2026. It was a pleasure connecting with you and exchanging ideas on the future of offshore energy applications. Materials performance and corrosion resistance remain critical to ensuring reliability and long term asset integrity in increasingly demanding environments.

At our booth, we were pleased to share how Alleima’s advanced alloys and precision tubing support these evolving offshore systems.

  • SAF® 3007 – the next-generation super-duplex stainless-steel grade for subsea umbilicals. It offers a safe, lighter, stronger and more efficient alternative to the industry standard – SAF® 2507.
  • Control Lines – a full range of control lines including encapsulation, flatpacks with or without TEC lines, tubes made from austenitic Fe, Ni-base alloys, or duplex stainless steel. They are available in seamless or welded conditions. Our flatpacks are fully hydrostatic tested, flushed, fluid-filled, and promptly delivered to your site on wooden or metal spools directly from our local facility in Malaysia.
  • Downhole Casing and Production Tubing (OCTG) made with corrosion resistant alloys such as duplex stainless steels and austenitic Fe- and Ni-base alloys, ideal for coping with aggressive environments in wells sour from hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide and other chemicals.
  • Hydraulic & Instrumentation (H&I) tubing – manufactured using corrosion-resistant austenitics, duplexes and nickel alloys. Sizes range from 1.59 to 50 mm (0.0625 to 1.968 in.) with smooth surfaces and close dimensional tolerances, minimizing the risk of leakages when connecting tubes with couplings.

If you would like to continue the conversation or explore how our materials can support your projects, our team would be happy to connect.

Going deeper in Asia Pacific

As the demand for energy grows, the pressure to go deeper increases. With a surge in subsea field developments and a focus on deepwater oil and gas exploration, the stage is set for the advancement of cutting-edge Subsea Umbilical, Risers & Flowlines (SURF) systems capable of extracting hydrocarbons from challenging deepwater environments.

Advancing FPSO and FLNG operations with sustainable materials

The offshore oil and gas industry is navigating a major transformation, driven by rising global energy demand, the need for secure energy supplies, stricter environmental regulations, and the push for more sustainable operations.
