Reheaters are critical to increasing the temperature of steam before it enters the low-pressure turbine. With temperatures ranging from 600°C to 1,120°C, they demand special materials. To this end, we offer advanced alloy stainless steel reheater and superheater tube, designed to withstand extreme heat, resist corrosion and keep your operations running smoothly.

Superheater and reheater tubes

For many of our customers, superheaters and reheaters serve as rugged on-site workhorses, playing a vital role in boosting the operational efficiency of their plants. Day in and day out, they support thermal power plants and other steam-driven systems, where they elevate steam temperatures beyond the saturation point, ensuring the steam remains dry and superheated. Alleima reheater tube covers a wide range of fuel types, such as coal, gas, oil, black liquor and biomass. Our range consists of stainless steels and nickel alloys in the outer diameters 12 to 260 mm (0.472 to 10.24 in.).

Increased efficiency in coal-fired power boilers

One of our latest innovations, Sanicro® 25 (S31035), is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel specially designed for the next generation of coal-fired power boilers. With its very high creep strength and resistance to oxidation, this advanced material helps achieve significantly higher efficiency and sharply lower CO2 emissions.
