It was a pleasure connecting at OTC Asia 2024!
Alleima exhibited at the Offshore Technology Conference Asia (OTC Asia), Asia's Premier Offshore Energy event, on February 27 to March 1, 2024, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) in Malaysia.
Our solutions that we showcased include:
- Umbilical Tubes – A super-duplex stainless steel that combines high corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength. With excellent resistance to seawater and marine environments, it is particularly well-suited for applications exposed to high stress in aggressive chloride-rich environments.
- Control Lines – Control Lines solutions include encapsulation, flatpacks with or without TEC lines, tubes made from austenitic Fe, Ni-base alloys, or duplex stainless steel, available in seamless or welded conditions. Our flatpacks are fully hydrostatic tested, flushed, fluid-filled, and promptly delivered to your site on wooden or metal spools directly from our local facility in Malaysia.
- Downhole Casing and Production Tubing (OCTG) – Made in corrosion resistant alloys such as duplex stainless steels and austenitic Fe- and Ni-base alloys, ideal for coping with aggressive environments in wells sour from hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide and other chemicals.
In particular, we were excited to share about our new super-duplex seamless tube, SAF™ 3007, which builds on the success of the SAF™ 2507 and represents the next-generation of the duplex revolution. With superior strength and fatigue properties as well as excellent corrosion resistance, the SAF™ 3007 is perfect for some of the most challenging environments in subsea areas.
