New collaboration between Alleima and Vasa Museum provides the historic Vasa ship with a steel skeleton

The special steel company Alleima plays a key role as the Vasa Museum faces its biggest challenge since the salvage. With the wood weakened, the ship needs a new support. Several years of research and advanced testing at the museum have led to a unique collaboration with Alleima to develop an internal, custom-made steel skeleton to support and stabilize the ship. The collaboration entails that Alleima becomes the main partner of the Vasa Museum and the "Support Vasa" project.

Alleima receives an order for mass production of fuel cells from Doosan Fuel Cell

Korean energy giant Doosan Fuel Cell, a leading global player in the field of hydrogen energy, is targeting both maritime and stationary applications for its fuel cells. Mass production of SOFC will start in 2025 at a new production plant in Korea. Alleima will supply Sanergy™ HT pre-coated material for the interconnects, a key component in the stationary fuel cell.

Alleima receives order of steam generator tubes for Small Modular Reactors

End-user of the steam generator tubes is NuScale Power a provider of proprietary and innovative advanced nuclear Small Modular Reactor (SMR) technology, the first and only SMR to have its design certified by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. This is Alleima’s second order from the nuclear fabricator Doosan Enerbility for NuScale Power’s SMRs.
