Alleima™ will represent the company in all markets, represent the business for Divisions Tube and Strip, as well as for the offering within Surface Technology and BU Medical/Exera®. The Kanthal organization and business will retain the Kanthal name and brand and become a sub-brand under the new Alleima™ corporate brand.
As of August 31st, the listing date, we will go to market under our new name and brand Alleima™. Our legal entities will change the name as close to the listing date as possible. Information about the name change in the form of addresses or billing information will be communicated to local customers and suppliers in each market.
The new brand will be activated and introduced to our customers and the global market starting August 31st. Rebranding of facility signage, packaging materials, website, etc., will be coordinated and implemented as soon as possible.
A legal agreement is an agreement between legal entities and not between brands. An agreement signed by a legal entity within Sandvik Materials Technology is still valid, even if the name of the legal entity has changed, as long as the company registration number is the same.

The name change has no impact on our capabilities, global offering, or presence. We will keep control over our supply chain, from R&D to melt to the final product. Sandviken in Sweden will remain the main industrial site and location for R&D. The head office is also located in Sandviken, Sweden. Our employees at the worldwide locations and our global sales team will continue to be there for you.
