Alleima is organized into three divisions. Each has its own distinct products and end-market focus.
Tube
Lightweight. Durable. Highly corrosion-resistant. Alleima tubular products play a vital role in making industrial processes more efficient and reliable. They also make us the global market leader in umbilical tubing, seamless control lines, and aerospace titanium tubes.
The seamless tubes and other long products we develop and manufacture are used in energy-related markets, such as power generation, chemicals, oil and gas, nuclear and hydrogen and renewable energy, as well as automotive, and aerospace.
Kanthal
Through its market-leading development and manufacture of heating technology and resistance materials, Kanthal is driving the industry’s shift from fossil fuel-based furnaces to electrical ones.
Kanthal also offers ultra-fine wire in stainless steel and precious metals. These are used in medical and electronic appliances where durability is key to functionality and longevity.
Strip
Doctor blade steel. compressor value steel. Knife and razor steel. Just some of the precision strip steel products developed and manufactured by the Alleima Strip division.
Strip also offers a portfolio of pre-coated strip steel for one of the most critical components in the hydrogen fuel stack; the bipolar plates. Rather than coating individual plates, this breakthrough technology for industrialized pre-coating of strip steel allows fuel cell technology at scale.
