Close to 6,000 employees around the world celebrated when Alleima was listed for trading on Nasdaq Stockholm. It was a historic day!
Following the decision at Sandvik AB Annual General Meeting on April 27, 2022, Sandvik shareholders made the historic decision to distribute and list Alleima, formerly Sandvik Materials Technology, as a stand-alone company on the Nasdaq Stockholm.
“We are a 160-year-old company with a fantastic history. Today, Alleima is a world-leader in its fields and a strong performer in its industry. As a standalone company, Alleima will have the right prerequisites to reach its full potential and the best conditions for growth and value creation. We wanted to celebrate this historic event and have therefore planned celebration activities for our employees around the world, says Göran Björkman, President and CEO of Alleima.
Nearly 6,000 employees around the world took part in the celebrations of this historic event.
Employees in nearly 30 countries were all invited to local cake celebrations and activities. Among other things, an internal contest for the “best brand activation” was initiated to boost internal commitment to the brand change.
