The Production manager is responsible for the employees, machines and methods. Member of the functions management team Operative function responsibility to reach tactical targets. Ensures staff competence and that work is done according to the agreed procedures and routines. Leads and distributes work in the production area. Responsible for personnel in areas such as rehabilitation and workforce planning Ensure compliance with all employment, health and safety laws. Responsible for all machinery and equipment in his/her production area. Responsible for the development of a yearly budget, ongoing expense tracking and cost savings initiatives. Actively work with culture change - attitudes, commitments and behaviors of individuals and groups. Responsible for specifying requirements on support functions as well as initiating and following up on improvement projects.
