IT System Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT System Development Manager to join our IT Demand Delivery Area. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our company’s various business units, providing crucial development support to manufacturing production and office operations. Your responsibilities will encompass defining, developing, maintaining, and optimizing IT systems to enhance efficiency across the organization.

Your Role

As an IT System Development Manager, you will lead and actively participate in the development and enhancements of cutting-edge IT systems. Your role is pivotal in aligning technology solutions with company objectives, driving innovation, and ensuring seamless integration of systems.

Key Responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead and mentor a small IT team, coordinating efforts between on-site staff and remote team members across the Americas’ region.

  • Develop, support, and optimize ERP systems to ensure seamless integration with business processes and data flows.

  • Design, deploy, and manage integration through a variety of tools to facilitate data exchange across systems.

  • Maintain and query SQL / Oracle databases to provide meaningful insights for business and operational needs.

  • Create and manage BI reporting systems including (Birst, PowerBI) reports and dashboards to enable data-driven decision-making for business stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, supply chain, and finance, to understand and address technical requirements and improve system capabilities.

  • Support IT governance, change management, and documentation standards within the organization.

About You

Qualifications consist of:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

  • 5+ years of IT experience in the manufacturing sector, with a strong emphasis on ERP systems, APIs, SQL databases, and PowerBI is preferred.

  • Proven experience leading and managing small teams across different locations, with an emphasis on fostering collaboration and efficiency.

  • Strong skills in database query development and optimization.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues quickly.
