We are looking for a local EHS Manager that will have an active role in day to day functions of EHS within the Production Units located in Palm Coast, Florida and Tucson, AZ. Your Role

In your role as EHS Manager, you will oversee and implement practices, policies, and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of employees, as well as the protection of the environment within the organization.

Here are some key responsibilities in this role:

  • Inspections and Risk Assessments

  • Conducting regular audits and identifying potential hazards

  • Monitoring and Reporting

  • Keeping track of EHS performance and reporting on compliance with regulations

  • Environmental Protection

  • Implementing strategies to reduce the environmental impact of organizational operations.

  • Emergency Response Coordination

  • Preparing for and responding to emergency situations effectively

  • Legal Compliance

  • Ensuring the organization adheres to local, state, and federal EHS regulations

  • Training and Communication

  • Ensuring compliance with all required EHS related training and communication requirements

  • Developing and Implementing Policies and Procedures

About You

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

We are looking for someone with an academic background within engineering, environmental science or a related field, minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge gained through solid work experience, and most important – an extensive working career with 5-7 years of experience from a similar position.

To be successful in the role you have a profound knowledge of the EHS aspects in a production environment. You must have experience with regulatory compliance and a strong ability to drive change initiatives and EHS processes.

We are looking for you that have a calm and positive attitude, who are confident and have strong integrity. We expect you to be a team player with the ability to network and communicate (both in writing and interpersonally) with people from diverse backgrounds. You enjoy acting in an ever-changing environment, where your flexibility and ability to solve problem with a structural mind and result in focus.
