Production Manager

In this role, the Production Manager will organize and effectively implement the company business plan and manage its daily operation in a production facility in Kennewick, WA (around 125 employees), specialized in producing the high precision titanium tube products for very demanding markets like Aerospace and Medical.

In this role, you will report to the Production Unit Manager and are responsible to define plan, set goals and manage the production process in order to fulfill the company business plan. These include manning, quality, EHS and costs controls. Success will be measured by improved safety, quality, productivity, employee satisfaction as well as profitability, and other financial measurements.

Your Role

  • Ensure all safety standards are strictly followed
  • Achieving overall plant productivity and quality goals
  • Ensure that procedures in the Quality Management System are followed and data is appropriately recorded
  • Minimize lead times and manage the production inventories
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure continuous development of skills and competencies throughout the organization
  • Encourage teamwork and collaboration
  • Manage capacity and detail production planning to meet market demand
  • Report on operational performance
  • Secure proper maintenance of the production and company assets
  • Perform other tasks or assignments as required by business unit management.
  • All employees are responsible for participating, supporting, and maintaining compliance with the company’s Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems, policies, procedures, programs, and activities as defined within the company’s published management system documentation.

About You

We are looking for someone with a B.S./BA degree in Business or engineering and 3-5 years supervisory experience. 8-10 years’ experience in manufacturing field, preferably in metals tubing industry. Knowledgeable in non-ferrous metals and metal forming principles is beneficial.

What you can expect from us

The salary range for this position is $86,000 to $129,000annually with a 15% annual bonus opportunity and annual merit increase eligibility.

Additional elements of the compensation package include medical, dental, vision insurance as well as company paid disability and life insurance. We offer paid time off, 11 paid holidays a year and a 401 (K) retirement savings plan that has a 5% company contribution with company match of 50% for the first 6% you invest.
