Tell us about your current role and the journey that’s brought you this far
Before I began my journey at Alleima I worked as a carpenter in Sandviken. Here in Sandviken, it is well known that Alleima is an attractive employer, so when I saw the job opening I did not hesitate to apply.
After a few interviews and dialogues with the employer, I got the job and was thrilled to start working with Alleima! I started learning grinding machine 512, and after a few months, I worked there self-propelled.
Because of the flexibility at Alleima, I learn other types of machinery very quickly, and within two years I learned, besides machine 512, the grinding machines 511 and 513 and polishing machine 554 as well.
Today I work daytime and support anyone that needs assistance with any of the machines above. This is an opportunity for me because I get to work with a lot of different people and evolve my knowledge and evolve as a person as well.

When we became Alleima I quickly learned about our core values and after two years of working here, I can proudly say that Alleima is delivering on their core values.
And then there is the quality of our products, I have been involved in the whole process here and take pride in the high-quality steel we manufacture here from start to end, every step I equally important to deliver top-tier steel.

I must choose we evolve, because of the personal progress I have had since I started working here. I feel that Alleima has done a great job in investing in me and making me feel important, resulting in me having a good understanding of the manufacturing process. I always have an open mind, and am eager to learn more!
How is Alleima advancing your own growth and development?
With amazing co-workers and great management who are well-educated in leadership, every Alleima employee has a great prerequisite to succeed and evolve. I am motivated for the future here at Alleima and will keep seeing possibilities, and take advantage of the opportunities the company gives me. And don’t forget to have fun while I'm doing it!
