Alleima develops, manufactures and refines fine medical wire and wire-based components for medical devices. Alleima also manufactures wire for electronic, thermoelectric and electromechanical applications and components. Part of the offering is also several value-added solutions such as electroplating of parts or processing nitinol.

Creativity is key to your design. As an integral part of your research and development journey, we can help you imagine and implement innovative solutions to solve tomorrow’s needs.

Agility matters, too. Our deliberately lean initiatives increase quality and decrease variability throughout the design process. And through a responsive, comprehensive design partnership with you, together we can conceive – and expertly create utterly unique processes and products.

Fine wire

Fine wire

Fine wire in a wide range of stainless steels and nickel alloys including resistance and resistance heating alloys. Our fine wire is available in sizes ranging down to 10 microns. With our high quality wires we can supply the most demanding applications such as aerospace, micro-electronics or other industries where quality matters most.

Ultra-fine medical wire and wire-based components

Ultra-fine medical wire and wire-based components

Our ultra-fine medical wire and wire-based components offering includes an extensive range of stainless steels, precious metals, and other biocompatible alloys available in very small diameters (0,010 mm/0,0004") and various forms. Together with our design engineers, you can develop wire-based components found nowhere else in the world.

Electroplating of wire and parts

Electroplating of wire and parts

With our extensive electroplating offering, we can apply one or several metallic coatings to improve characteristics such as electrical properties, acid resistance, or aesthetic appearance. We offer barrel and rack plating for parts and reel-to-reel plating of wire.

Nitinol processing

Nitinol processing

Nitinol requires special treatment. Some processes can irreversibly damage both the material and the mold. The use of nitinol in medical technology in the form of instruments and implants also usually requires special surface treatment. Our team has built up extensive expertise in the processing of nitinol over 20 years.
