Hello Paul!
Tell us about your current role and the journey that’s brought you this far
I joined the company in 1996. I started my career in Taiwan and moved to Shanghai in 2009. Today I am responsible for all of Alleima China, including full operation of the tube mill in Zhenjiang.
Why are you proud to be part of Alleima?
I am proud that Alleima is the world-leading material expert, and that our advanced products and solutions help our customers achieve their own development and growth. This is an environment where everyone works passionately together towards the same goal.
I’ve been here for over 25 years… if I didn’t love it, I wouldn’t have stayed for such a long time! We have a lot of challenges, but plenty of fun and opportunities, too. You work with many talented, knowledgeable people, and we’re empowered to make our own decisions about our own responsibilities. That’s the greatest part.
Which of our core values (We care, We deliver, We evolve) do you especially connect with, and why?
I have to say that all 3 of our core values resonate with me! We really care for our employees, and we care about making great products and delivering as promised to our customers. And by continuously evolving new material and production technology to support our customers’ business, we’re also growing our business and people.
But if I had to choose one, I would say ‘We evolve’. We are developing a lot of new products in our mill in order to satisfy our customers in their demanding application environments. We are not only evolving our materials and products, but also evolving our professional knowledge with the talented people at Alleima.
How is Alleima advancing your own growth and development?
There is no doubt that I am developing and growing at Alleima. I started my career as a front-line employee, and 25 years later I am still here – and still learning!
