Sales & Technical Marketing Engineer

For our company we are looking for a Sales & Technical Marketing Engineer for the Oil & Gas Segment in the region North Sea and partly Middle East. Your Role

  • Engage with key industry stakeholders being responsible for sales and technical marketing to existing products for existing customers/applications.

  • Identify new customers and application areas for future product solutions.

  • Responsible for developing, scheduling and execution of Sales & Technical Marketing programs.

  • Liaise with global product teams to prepare, conduct and/or assist in product promotion, presentation and demonstration from technical perspective.

  • Work with cross-functional teams providing statistical and technical advice. Understand both the business problems and the technical solutions.

  • Create and implement the Technical Sales plan for the sales region based upon global business plans.

  • Review and monitor performance periodically and refine technical sales strategy as required by management.

  • Provide Business Performance Metric reports to Mgmt. and agree/implement any required actions.

  • Take accountability for management of budgets and forecasts (including A&S costs).

  • Ensure optimum customer segmentation for the region.

  • Ensure compliance with local legislative frameworks and/or rules.

  • A lot of contact with our own internal international organization

About You

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as marketing, engineering, or business administration.

  • At least 3 years of experience in technical marketing, sales, or product management in a related industry.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Fluency in English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel within the region and occasionally internationally.
