Overview

  • We are seeking a technical sales engineer to join our team and help us grow our market share and customer satisfaction.
  • You will have a key role in making this investment successful by finding new business opportunities, providing technical solutions to customers, and keeping strong relationships with our customers in China.
  • In this role you will be in charge of providing technical support and solutions to customers, building and maintaining long-term relationships, and creating sales opportunities.
  • Ideally you have experience with project based sales selling solutions to customers in the chemical and petrochemical, energy, oil& Gas or renewable segments and can understand their needs and provide technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer needs and requirements and provide technical solutions and proposals.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers and prospects.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals with customers.
  • Provide after-sales support and service to customers and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, production, and quality to ensure product quality and delivery.
  • Keep up to date with market trends, competitors, and customer feedback.
  • Travel to customer sites and attend trade shows and exhibitions as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, preferably in mechanical, chemical, or metallurgical engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical sales or engineering in the tube industry or related fields.
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills in materials or tube products, applications, and standards or experience working with stainless steel materials in a technical sales or engineering role.
  • Ability to provide technical solutions and recommendations to customers regarding the use of stainless steel materials in their applications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and customer-oriented.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to travel frequently and adapt to different cultures and environments.
