Our Production Unit Alleima Precision Tube at Scottdale (PA) is specialized in producing high precision stainless and nickel alloy tube products to high demanding industries with aerospace, nuclear and petrochemical.

Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NDT Engineer Level III specializing in Eddy Current & Ultrasonic testing to join our team. You will be responsible for performing advanced inspections and tests on materials and components, ensuring adherence to industry codes, standards, and specifications. This role requires a meticulous individual with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to interpret complex schematics.

Your tasks and activities will be :

  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe, clean and organized work area,
  • Train, test and certify NDT Inspector in the method(s) and provide technical guidance and mentorship,
  • Prepare and verify work instructions for NDT method in compliance
  • Conduct Eddy Current and Ultrasonic testing on a variety of materials and components.
  • Perform advanced inspections and tests to detect defects, discontinuities, and structural integrity issues.
  • Analyze inspection data and interpret schematics, blueprints, or technical drawing to identify areas od interest for inspections and to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers or micrometers to collect accurate data,
  • Develop and implement inspection procedures and techniques to optimize testing processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality concerns and recommend corrective and/or improvement actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and equipment calibration.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Level III certification in Eddy Current and Ultrasonic testing methods.
  • Extensive experience working as an NDT Engineer, and can also include NAS-410 requirements / A.A.S NDT degree,
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting industry codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of NDT techniques, equipment, and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
