Production Control Administrator
In this role, the Production Control Administrator will coordinate, develop and communicate the production plan and material flow to optimize efficiency, cost, and customer delivery performance in a production facility in Kennewick, WA (around 150 employees), specialized in producing the high precision titanium tube products for very demanding markets like Aerospace and Medical.
You will be supporting Operations in the planning and scheduling of tube production and other planning related duties.
About the Role
The Production Control Administrator Planner will support continuous improvement efforts in lean manufacturing work streams, communicate order status, operational needs, and schedule deviations to all necessary departments.
Other Responsibilities:
- Maintain Inspection Lot Reports
- Update schedules for UT, box plan, Lot detail report (LDA) and facilitate communication and flow of orders from finish processing to boxing
- Print and distribute master work orders(MWO's)
- Review status, close shop orders and maintain ship summary reporting
- Update finish good locations in ERPLx system
- Create and issue new shipping box orders
- Report on order completion metrics
- Administer new routings as well as changes to routings
- Communicate order status to all departments. Work closely with Sales to ensure high level of customer service

About You
To be successful in this role good communication skills and a strong background in understanding business needs are important. 3-5 years’ experience working in inventory management, shipping and receiving, or scheduling in a manufacturing environment and previous knowledge of ERP systems is preferred.
Experience in and understanding of software included with the Microsoft office package is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required for this position depending on your experience with planning and logistics.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be self-motivated and ready to take the initiative in this role. Your collaborative nature will allow you to work well with different departments and be comfortable interacting with stakeholders of all levels from the shop floor to the management team.
Effective communication combined with an extremely high attention to detail is also needed as well as understanding and the ability to effectively communicate why and when plans change to fit our customer requirements.
What you can expect from us
The salary range for this position is $22.00 to $28.00 per hour with a 5% annual bonus and annual merit eligibility.
