Your Role

As an EHS Coordinator, you will play a vital role in driving a culture of safety and ensuring that strategic operational goals are met. You’ll lead the coordination and administration of safety programs and environmental initiatives, while fostering a safe, healthy, and accident-free environment. This role is hands-on and production-focused, with a strong emphasis on compliance and continuous improvement.

What we expect from you to is:

  • Safety first, always: Promote a “never walk by” philosophy by addressing any unsafe conditions immediately and encouraging everyone to take ownership of safety. Ensure that safety is the top priority in all daily activities and decision-making processes.
  • Develop and administer employee training, including New Hire Orientation, EHS training, and on-the-job instruction, while maintaining training record to ensure all employees are up to date with mandatory safety and operational procedures.
  • Proactively engage with daily and weekly safety activities to ensure full compliance with safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and implement safety, health, and environmental programs in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of the facility, equipment, and work practices.
  • Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses; recommend corrective actions and follow up to ensure their completion.
  • Collaborate with site leadership and employees to promote a safety-first culture, providing training and support where necessary.
  • Maintain and update EHS records, including training documentation, incident reports, and safety performance metrics.
  • Participate in the development of emergency response plans and conduct drills.
  • Oversee hazardous materials management, waste disposal, and environmental sustainability initiatives at the site.

About you

You’re someone who knows the ins and outs of safety and environmental regulations (OSHA and EPA don’t scare you!) and have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in an EHS role in manufacturing or production. With your bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience), you’re ready to lead the charge in making safety second nature. You’re a master at juggling tasks like conducting audits, investigating incidents, and running training sessions—all while keeping things organized and on track. But beyond the technical stuff, you’ve got the people skills to spark change, engage teams, and inspire everyone around you to embrace a safety-first mindset. If you’re certified in OSHA 30-hour or CSP, that’s even better, and if you have experience in industries like aerospace or medical manufacturing, we’d love to hear about it. Ready to make an impact? We’re excited to meet you!
