Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer in a seamless tube manufacturing facility, located in Kennewick WA, you be the will be a subject matter expert and support continuous improvement efforts across all manufacturing equipment including tube reducing mills. The Kennewick, WA plant specializes in producing the high precision titanium tube products for very demanding markets like Aerospace and Medical. Technical advancement in the organization is available through increased depth and breadth of capabilities. Starting level will depend on experience.

Your Role

  • Act as the project leader when assigned.
  • Revise existing designs for continuous improvement.
  • Generate original designs for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain mechanical designs and drawing documentation.
  • Specify and manage installation of equipment as assigned.

About You

We are looking for someone with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline and experience in manufacturing. You are able to work either independently or as a constructive member of a team. You have a drive to continually improve the performance of the equipment and designs of the manufacturing equipment you support.

Candidates should also possess:

  • Mechanical engineering experience of 5 years or more.
  • Working safely as a core guiding principal.
  • Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Experience with CNC machining will be a plus.
  • A willingness to continually learn and develop proficiency of company and industry methods.

What you can expect from us

The salary range for this position is $79,000 to 115,000 annually with a 10% annual bonus and annual merit eligibility.

Additional elements of the compensation package include medical, dental, vision insurance as well as company paid disability and life insurance. We offer paid time off, 11 paid holidays a year and a 401 (K) retirement savings plan that has a 5% company contribution with company match of 50% for the first 6% you invest.
